About Applied Engineering Services

Founded in Indianapolis in 1998, Applied provides professional consulting engineering services for advanced manufacturing, higher education, health care, and government clients. Our focus is on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering for site utilities and building projects. With nearly 50 employees, we have the resources necessary to engineer projects of all sizes, from small renovations to new complex, large-scale lab and manufacturing facilities – and everything in between!

Community Outreach

Applied believes in giving back to our community in the form of time, talent, and treasure. Our Community Outreach Program offers and encourages each employee up to 16 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer at a local not-for-profit or similar organization. We also regularly hold food drives and other fundraising events to support local food pantries, and financially support numerous organizations that are meaningful to our clients and employees. During the holiday season, our Principals each select a favorite local charity and we enlist our clients to vote for their favorite via our Christmas e-card survey! Each charity receives a donation based on the number of votes, with a guaranteed minimum set by our leadership team.
